Accentuate the Positives
I have spent the majority of the weekend alone while John was at work all weekend and I've had a lot of time to think (while supervising the new dog of course). Here are some things that I really like:
1. Extreme Makeover. I cry almost every ending, especially when the spider bitten woman gets reunited with her Iraq special forces husband. I'm such a sap.
2. Lowes Home Improvement. I think I have an addiction. I CAN NOT walk into that place, even if it's to return something, and not walk out without buying a cart full of stuff "I just have to have for the house". Today it was outdoor furnature throw pillows and a few bricks to bulster up my flower pots but I resisted the temptation to buy about 10 bushes for the front lawn. I'm not made of money.
3. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. WOW, they don't last very long but the bathroom skum just wipes away. How does this work? You don't get any foam up when you wet it, so how does it work?
4. The 1200 thread count sheets John got me for my birthday. Feel like a celebrity for no good reason.
Monday is right around the corner and my economics final is in 8 days so I'm trying my damndest to focus on the good stuff.
